A Very Brief Look at Longevity

A rose is a rose is a rose. But, a carnation... well, it's a whole other...

flower.

Oh, my gosh. I think I just pointed out the

OBVIOUS!

Perhaps I've had a lot of football on my mind. Perhaps I'm turning into Jim Madden, whom Frank Caliendo refers to as the "Nostradamus of the Endzone."

I love carnations because they live longer than roses. Roses are here and gone in about a week's time. These particular carnations, however, have clung to life with simply a mason jar full of water for a good three weeks now! And, counting...

They're not quite as beautiful as roses are, but they're definitely more hearty. So, which, I ask you, do you identify with more?

Send me your thoughts. And, the warmer the better. It's COOOOOLD out there!

I think I'll go brew some more coffee.
